The Metabolic Clarity Program now available
At Ormand & Cook Wellness, our NAD⁺ protocols are developed and supervised by nurse practitioners with deep experience in hematology and oncology. That expertise shapes everything we do. We don’t offer NAD⁺ because it’s popular; we offer it as a targeted, evidence‑informed therapy that’s dosed thoughtfully and monitored with care.
Whether you're addressing fatigue that sleep doesn't fix, supporting metabolic and hormonal health, optimizing cognitive performance, or investing in cellular longevity - NAD⁺ therapy is a valuable addition to your health journey.
The starting dose
2 weeks
The loading dose
4 weeks
The maintenance dose
Ongoing
dose strength and frequency of administration can vary slightly from patient to patient and from phase to phase
The series lasts a total of 8 weeks, to achieve your maintenance dose. You will then pay monthly or every 3 months for ongoing prescriptions.
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+ ) is a coenzyme found in every cell of the human body. It drives the metabolic reactions that produce cellular energy, powers the DNA repair enzymes that protect against age-related damage, and activates proteins linked to longevity and metabolic regulation. Research consistently shows that NAD⁺ levels decline by up to 50% between your 40s and 60s - and that decline is measurable in your energy, your cognitive clarity, your recovery, and your metabolic function. NAD+ is essential for energy production, DNA repair, cellular signaling, and healthy aging.
NAD+ may be a good fit for patients who:
want to support overall wellness and healthy aging
are experiencing metabolic concerns
are looking to enhance muscle recovery and workout performance
notice brain fog, trouble focusing, or memory changes
are seeking more consistent energy and better sleep
You should NOT use NAD+ if:
you have cardiovascular disease or bleeding disorders
you have a personal history of cancer
you are on active treatment for cancer
you have significant liver or kidney disease
contributing to fatigue, metabolic slowdown, cognitive changes, and reduced cellular resilience
It’s administered subcutaneously (into the fat layer beneath the skin) using a very small needle. The subcutaneous route (SubQ) is preferred because it bypasses digestive breakdown for superior bioavailability. Compared to IV infusion, SubQ offers a slower, more sustained release into the bloodstream, which means fewer side effects, greater convenience, and the option for self-administration at home.
